Building interesting things

 

One of the more interesting side effects of being a fan of a build-it-yourself system like HERO Systems is that sometimes you see something and just build it.  At the bottom of the post is a link to a video for the Johnny Seven-1 Man Army commercial, right above that is a design for how the weapon might look if Dreams became Reality.

The format is used for Excel, which because of Excel addition means that instead of using the standard HERO system notation [1u / 1)] I used [1 /u 1)], basically a House rule for convenience.   The other house rule I use is shown at the end of every power I have finished.  The ??/?? shows the Active Cost/Real Cost for the power.  This makes it particularly useful for a Gm to add or swap out powers on the fly when building various constructs.
